Frobish descendants hold reunion

The 43rd reunion of the descendants of Will and Lizzie Frobish was held July 4 at the Columbus Community Building with 54 attending. This included four generations of family members.

Auxiliary gets update on landscaping

An update on the landscaping and irrigation system at Columbus Mercy was given to the Columbus Mercy Auxiliary at their July 21 meeting. Angie Saporito reported the project should be completed soon. Most of the signage has been put into place.

Eli Dean Wintz, 20, was arrested Monday by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies on charges of criminal damage to property and assault and is being held without bail.Taylor Rae Paxson, 32, was arrested Sunday by Quapaw Marshals on a warrant and is being held in lieu of $1,000 bail.
