Junior Grand Boys Buymanship Style Revue sponsored by Team Outfitters went to Abel Ellison Spring Valley Sparklers. Junior Reserve Boys Buymanship went to Ezra Vanderbeck Spring Valley Sparklers.

Fair Buddies returned this year pairing an experienced 4-Her with a novice showman to teach the youngsters the basics of showing in the arena.

Members of the Senior Class receiving Cherokee County Democratic Party Scholarships are: Allison Burns, Honorable Mention; Anna Head, $250; Mallory Thompson, $100; and Torey Tedlock, $100. Scholarships were presented during the Senior Assembly, May 16, at the Columbus Unified High School Gymnasium by party representative, Janie Jarrett.

Jessee McBride was recognized by Columbus Unified High School Administrators, Dan Grundy and David Dainty during the Senior Assembly, May 16, in the CUHS Gymnasium. Jessee has plans to join the United State Marines.

Kadi Cobb and Kenadie Carter received the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship in the amount of $300 each from Lucille McNemar during the 2025 Senior Assembly, May 16, at the Columbus Unified High School Gymnasium.

Kanyen Smith and Maddox Ochsner were recipients of the Reeves Family Scholarship in the amount of $500 each during the May 16 Senior Assembly at the Columbus Unified High School Gymnasium.

Brandon Stice received the Truckload Carriers Association Scholarship in the amount of $2,725 from during the 2025 Senior Assembly at the Columbus Unified High School Gymnasium, May 16.
