The wheat harvest is underway in Cherokee County as the trucks are lined up at the Columbus Farmer’s Elevator to unload the harvest. Reports of a good crop have been circulating the county.
After more than 30 years, the Columbus High School football scoreboard has been removed from the south end of the stadium. If the scoreboard could talk, the stories it could tell. It will be replaced this summer and next year the Titans will be playing before a new modern scoreboard. Vital Signs is handling the sign replacement.
