Joseph Lee Ladel Ashley-McCammon, 21, was arrested Sunday by Baxter Springs Police officers on charges of failure to stop at an accident, reckless driving, vehicle liability insurance required and criminal damage to property and as released on $1,495 bail.

Medicalodges to host salad fundraiser

Each year the Medicalodges of Columbus holds a fundraiser to support a trip for residents. In recent years the trips have included Branson sites including Dolly Parton’s dinner theatre and other shows.The fund raiser this year is being held on July 2, as the staff is preparing “Loaded” Chef Salads.
