Three former Big Brutus workmen visited at the annual Miners Reunion held in West Mineral on Saturday. Harold Shideler, John Korach and Lewis Kalm were working the night Brutus closed.
Cherokee County Sportsmen’s Club annual Kids Fishing Derby winners in the 10 years old to 12 years old were first place Kaden Fleshman with a 2.44 pound total catch. The “Big Fish” plaque went to Tate Godfrey and second place in the fishing tourney with a 2.32 pound bass and Phillip Turner was third with a 1.86 pound bass.
