Results of elections for the state’s five grain commodity commissions — corn, grain sorghum, soybeans, and wheat have been announced by the Kansas department of agriculture.The outcome of the elections which took place in Districts VII, VIII, and IX in the eastern region of the state.

Signs of spring have arrived

There have been noticeable signs that spring has arrived on our farm. Following a snowfall during the kids’ spring break, the sun has come out and the temperatures have warmed up. It’s a different feel of seasons.The flowers have begun appearing in my yard and on my fruit trees.
