Four students receive Starr, Eugenia Smith Scholarships

The First United Methodist Church of Columbus recently presented Gracie Davolt, Sophia Lacy, Thomas Lacy, and Taylor McDown with the Starr and Eugenia Smith Scholarship. Gracie Davolt will be a freshman at Bethany College, in Lindsborg. She will be majoring in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science.

New artwork adorns the walls of the Maple Uncommon Gallery as the works of artists Ginger Copeland and Curt Penland were unveiled at an artists reception on Sunday. A large crowd visited during the come and go reception.
