Tiffany Studios is synonymous with luxury and decorative items like jewelry, useful pieces made of precious metals and elaborate stained-glass lamps. The company also made practical objects, such as its line of commercial desk accessories made from about 1890 to the 1930s.

For the time being, Cherokee County Sheriff David Groves is wearing two particularly important hats as he continues to serve the community. Groves met with the County Commissioners as he touched on both the Sheriff’s Department’s monthly report as well as the Emergency Management report on April 4.

Columbus churches Good Friday service

Easter will come hopping down the bunny trail as youngsters will have three major egg hunts in the county. Baxter Springs and Columbus on Saturday morning, April 16. Thanks to the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and the Baxter Springs Kiwanis Club and First Christian Church in Baxter Springs.
