Lions lose home opener to Labette County Grizzlies

The Lions started their 2022 baseball season with a loss to Labette County. The Grizzlies came from behind for a 10-7 win at the Field Of Dreams complex. Baxter Springs started with a single run in the opening inning. Senior Kamo Willimson started with a base hit, then stole second base.

Lady Rams top 20 schools in Galena Bulldog relays

The Lady Rams took first place in the Bulldog Relays with 80 points, with 20 schools competing. Riverton’s sophomore Alivia Parker took second in the 200M Dash with a time of 28.55, second in the triple jump going 31’ 2”, and placed third in the 400M Run 1:01.08 seconds.
