The Riverton FFA

The Riverton FFA received second place honors at the K-State Ag Ed Speech Contest held in Manhattan. The chapter had 16 total members compete in the event. Each of these students selected topics, researched and wrote speeches, and spent hours practicing the delivery of their speech.

Grant W. Manning, 45, was arrested Sunday by Galena Police officers on charges of driving under the influence, transporting an open container, driving while suspended, vehicle liability insurance required and maximum speed limits and was released on $5,000 bail.
