County discusses equipment repairs

Another session was held this Tuesday for the weekly County Commissioners’ meeting. County commissioners Myra Carlisle Frazier, Lorie Johnson, and Corey Moates all presided over the event. Road and Bridge Department Supervisor, Cody Zook, met with the council to discuss a variety of topics.

A long-time resident has recently had some stories to tell. Pam Llamas, a fourteen-year resident of Columbus, has recently released her third book in the Christian-fiction genre. This latest title is said to help readers understand the process of consciousness to life and the return to Heaven.

In the 1950s, there were still A&P grocery stores that only sold bags of coffee beans that had to be ground in a large iron grinder in the store, even though there were other brands of ground beans in bags. The customer chose the type and could grind it or ask a clerk to help.
