The USD 247 School Board had a special visitor at their meeting Monday night, January 13. Zoe Friemel, a fourth grader in Jenny Lynch’s class, entertained them by reading a book she wrote and illustrated, “The December Hound.” Zoe was inspired to create her book after a local author, Jana Yankoviz Dalrymple, visited students at the Southeast Elementary School.
