The Columbus Cal Ripken 10U All-Stars finished their season as the Kansas District 5 Cal Ripken 10U Tournament Runners-up following a tough loss to the host team, Parsons, July 11. Columbus and Neodesha opened the three-team championship bracket play Friday night with a 6 p.m. start.
The local all-stars took the win, 12-1, to advance to the night cap, Game 2, contest against Parsons.
