Gaither erases 50-year-old record

  • Titan Freshman, Jace Gaither, surpassed his second long-standing, track record of the young season by setting a new mark in the Shot Put at Riverton’s 60th Annual Lester Garber Relays. The previous record was nearly as old as the event itself, set in 1968 by Pat Flanagan at 49 feet, eight inches.
