The 2025 reigning CNC League and Kansas Class 3-2-1A Sub-State Champions return all six of their state qualifiers for the 2026 Lady Titan Golf season. Senior, Amory Neely; sophomore, Addison Johnson; senior, Natalie Wary; senior, Hannah Noel; and sophomores, Fallon Smiley and Cali Carpino will be back on the links under the direction of head coach Jerry Smiley and assistant coach Dan Grundy for the upcoming fall season.

Senior Jayden Rodriguez received the Evelyn Waugh Scholarship from her grandson, Aaron Rider, USD 493 Principal. The $300 scholarship was presented at the May 15 Senior Assembly in the CUHS Gym.

Darcy Garrett and Piper Hayes, seniors, received the Columbus Public Library Scholarship in the amount of $500 each from Shari Napier and Jennifer Thompson, Library Board Members during the Columbus Unified High School Senior Assembly, May 15 at the CUHS Gymnasium.

Senior Ava Hulvey, received the American Legion, Sunflower Girls State Scholarship for $250 from USD 493 Instructor, Karen Langerot, during the May 15, Senior Assembly at the Columbus High School Gym.

Piper Hayes, senior, was the Recipient of the Columbus Telephone Optic Communications Scholarship for $1,000 awarded May 15 during the Senior Assembly at the CUHS Gymnasium by Jane Rhinehart.

Three seniors were awarded the Callie Henson Scholarship the amount of $500 each from Henson Family friend, Ryan Lacen, during the May 15, Columbus Unified High School Senior Assembly at the high school gym. Jayden Rodriguez, Mackenzie Richards and Morgan Richards were the recipients.

Senior Morgan Richards received the $150 Difference Maker Scholarship from Kerri Matson during the Columbus Unified High School Senior Assembly, in the CUHS Gymnasium, May 15.

The four-week camp for junior golfers concluded Thursday with five players taking the opportunity to learn from Columbus Unified High School Sophomore, state qualifier, Cali Carpino. The free camp was offered four Thursdays in July and August by Cali and Easton Long, senior, CUHS state qualifier, at the Brush Creek Golf Course. Those attending the final session were Rae Smith, Quynn Baylor, Brynn Baylor, Hollis Haverkamp, and Jack Koons.
