Many post season accolades of P.J. Sarwinski were published in the December 30 edition of the News-Report. The Columbus community is familiar with the Sarwinski name and family. It was incorrectly written that his grandparents were Mike and Connie Sarwinski of Columbus.

Sarwinski earns multiple accolades

Pittsburg State University Graduate Linebacker, P.J. Sarwinski has received multiple post season accolades following his final season for the Gorillas. He was named to the 2022 NCAA Division II Academic All-America football team selected by the College Sports Communicators, December 20.

Mini wrestlers set season schedule

The Columbus Titan Mini Wrestlers have a busy season played as evidenced by the schedule posted by league officials. The season is set to open Saturday in Anderson, Mo., for the Battle of the Eve. The tournament is currently pending on numbers registered to participate.
