Lady Titan 7th in Galena Tourney

The Lady Titan Seventh Grade Volleyball Team spent Saturday in Galena at the Seventh Grade Tournament. Columbus won one set over Galena, 25-14, and gave up one set to the host, Lady Bulldogs, 18-25.

Tornados topple Titans in JV shut out

The Coffeyville Field Kindley Golden Tornado Junior Varsity Squad blew into Columbus Monday and wreaked havoc on the junior Titan Team in a 28-0 shutout at Titan Stadium. The teams traded possession throughout the first quarter.

Grundy, Thompson top three at Chanute

Columbus Lady Titan Golfers, Reese Grundy, junior and Mallory Thompson, sophomore, finished back-to-back in the 18hole, Chanute Varsity Golf Invitational, Monday. Reese shot 91, improving her 46 going out with a 45 coming in to place second.

Titan 5th/6th take win over Pittsburg

A late score by the visiting, Pittsburg Akins team, kept the Columbus Titan Fifth and Sixth Grade from a shut out, but they still took the win, 28-8. Jaden Dohle opened the scoring for the Titans with a rushing touchdown. Jax Hale punched in the points-after-touchdown conversion for an 8-0 lead.

Mini Titan 3rd/4th top Purple Dragons

The Columbus third and fourth grade Mini Titans earned their second win of the season, Saturday, 30-6, over Pittsburg Ryan at Titan Stadium. A defensive battle ensued throughout the first period with neither offense making their way to the end zone. Columbus scored twice in the second quarter.

Lady Titan Tennis wrapping season

The Lady Titan Tennis Team has made long treks for matches this week including trips to Chanute and Fort Scott to face members of the SEK League. Thursday, the CNC League Lady Titans were in Chanute for a tournament with Fort Scott, Chanute, Iola, and Coffeyville.

Tornado speed overtakes Titans

The Titan Football Team was upended by a quick, Coffeyville Tornado Team, 34-19, Friday in Coffeyville. Columbus gave up some big plays for touchdowns but did their best to contain the highpowered running game of their hosts.

Titan Seventh blanks Raiders

The Titan Seventh Grade Football Team blanked the Frontenac Raiders, 22-0, Thursday at Titan Stadium. Frontenac won the toss and deferred to the second half.

Rams take win over Titan 8th

The Columbus Eighth Grade Titans suffered a loss in their home opener, Thursday, against Riverton, 26-6. Playing as a combined seventh and eighth grade squad, the Rams got on the scoreboard first when eighth grader, Aydin Witherspoon, ran 75-yards on a kickoff return for six points.
