Current and former Titans were drawn to the campus of Missouri Southern State University, Saturday for the Southern Stampede Cross Country Race. The multi-division competition brings in thousands of runners each year including the Columbus Titan Varsity runners and a few alumni.

Junior High Titan 8th drops opener

The Titan Eighth Grade Football Team lost their opening game at St. Mary’s-Colgan, September 8, in Pittsburg, 14-30. Both teams put points on the scoreboard in the first quarter.

The Columbus Mini Titan Football teams will play their home opener, tomorrow, when they host Pittsburg Ryan, third and fourth grade team and Pittsburg Akins, fifth and sixth grade teams at Titan Stadium.

Purple Dragons rally for JV win

The Columbus Junior Varsity Titans lost a tough contest, Monday, at Titan Stadium against Pittsburg, 12-20. The Purple Dragons were added to the junior varsity schedule when the original match up with McDonald County, Missouri was cancelled due to a double booking.

Titan Football 7th blanks Girard

The Columbus Titan Seventh Grade rolled to a 30-0 shutout over the Trojans in Girard on their first outing of the season. The Titan defense completely shut down an always competitive Trojan offense.

Titan fifth/sixth shuts out Indy

The Columbus Fifth and Sixth Grade Mini Titan Football Team shut out Independence, Saturday, on the Bulldogs home turf, 30-0. In their season opener, the Titan Defense had a great game against a really good Independence Offense. Their four takeaways made a big difference in the game.
