Andale has once again been chosen as the top contender to repeat as state champions, just as they have since 2019. But they will have a strong contingency of challengers for the 2022 title.

Members of the Titan Football Team were introduced numerically at the annual Titan Booster Club’s Meet the Titan Night, August 22, at the CUHS Gym.

Lady Titan Golf third in opener

The Columbus Girls Varsity Golf Team had a great opening round of golf, Tuesday, in the Labette County High School Tournament held at the Oswego Golf Course. The team placed third overall behind Independence and Caney Valley, missing second by one point on a hole-in-one by a Caney golfer.

Titan Cross Country introduced

The Columbus Titan Cross Country Team was introduced at the annual Titan Booster Club’s Meet the Titan Night held at the CUHS Gymnasium, August 22.

Strong start for JV Ladies golf

Columbus High School Junior Varsity Ladies Golf Team opened the 2022 season with a junior varsity tournament at Baxter Springs, August 25. A small group of three Lady Titans had a solid first tournament with just eight practices under their belts.

Krause ninth in first JV CC run

Titan Junior, Derek Krause, placed ninth in the junior varsity race of the Titan Cross Country sea- son opener, on a hot Thursday morning at Labette County High School.

SE JV Football rescheduled

The Southeast Lancer Junior Varsity Football Game at Baxter Springs had been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 6, at 6 p.m. The team will practice Monday, September 5, at 6 p.m.

Southeast Volleyball begins season 1-4

The Southeast Lady Lancers were 1-4 at a Three Rivers League Tournament at Uniontown to open their 2022 season.

Titans display talent at Jamboree

The Lady Titan Tennis Team picked up some wins in their first varsity tournament, Thursday, in Chanute. Lizzy Welch, the number two singles player split for a 2-2 record. Brooklyn Lima and Hailey Ediger also finished the day, 2-2, in number two doubles competition.

Titan Soccer kicks off today

The Titan Soccer Team kicks off their 2022 season schedule today with a match in Chanute. The team was introduced at the Annual Meet the Titans Night at the Columbus High School Gymnasium, August 22.
