Columbus Public Library Hours

The Columbus Public Library will be open to the public, with a five person limit. Mondays 9 p.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursdays 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Wednesdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m. By appointment only. Thursdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Fridays 9 a.m.-noon. Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon.

BSFD Auxiliary to host night swim at Baxter pool

A night swim hosted by the Baxter Springs Fire Department Auxiliary will be held Thursday, July 1 at the Baxter Springs City pool from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. The price of entrance will be a donation. The Baxter Springs fire truck is scheduled to be there. All proceeds will be used to support BSFD.

Kiwanis Club provides swim, hot dogs to youth

Kids at the Baxter Springs City Pool were able to cool off for just $1 on Saturday with the Baxter Springs Kiwanis Club picking up the rest of the admission. The club plans to host additional pool parties such as the one Saturday cooling off a very hot day.
