Senior Reserve Champion was Rylee Heistand from Riverton FFA with her formal wear.

We don’t like to think about it, but 2025 will soon be here. That means for the tourism committee of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, the 2025 Calendar of Events/Business Guide brochure needs to be printed and sent out to visitor centers in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Time running out for Chris Award nominations

Santa will once again be transported along the parade route by members of the Columbus Lions Club on their famous fire truck. The parade is planned to take place Wednesday, December 4. Line up will begin around 6 p.m. with the parade starting at approximately 7 p.m. Judging of floats will take place around 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for two places in both religious and novelty categories.

The 4-H Alumni Award
