Members of the Columbus Titan Football team handed out candy during the Homecoming parade Friday, October 6. The Titans played the Colgan Panthers that evening. The Columbus High School Senior Class planned to “flush the panthers” according to the sign on their Homecoming float.

A birthday celebration is planned for Harold and Joanne Shideler for Harold’s 95th, and Joanne’s 90th, birthday. The celebration will be held Saturday, October 21, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the McCune Community Center, 5th and Main in McCune. The couple requests no gifts, please. Seeing family and friends is the best present. The Shideler’s celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in 2022.
