Southeast High School had their Homecoming ceremony September 29 during the varsity football game against Pleasanton. Senior Kinzey Cassidy was chosen as the 2023 Homecoming Queen and Senior Blayke Logan was named the Homecoming King. They were crowned by last year’s Queen and King, Zoey Tavernaro and Landon Cole. Maverick Babcock placed second in the ages six and under division of the Sportsmen’s Fish and Game Association fishing derby. Kaydence Babcock placed first with a weight of 4.96 pounds. She had a total catch of 14.58 pounds for the day. Gannon Jones placed third with a weight of 1.20 pounds

Friends and family of Traci Spear (holding grandson James Hodgson) attended the pulled pork fundraiser held at the 4-H Building September 28. Proceeds will go for treatment and travel expenses.
