Woman gets six years on child abuse charges

The Cherokee County District Court sentenced a Pittsburg woman to prison on child abuse charges.

Megan VonHemel, 41, was given a six and one half year sentence after pleading guilty to aggravated battery, abuse of a child and interfering with law enforcement.
