Hours change for public works crews

The Columbus City Public Works Department employees will be working from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. beginning Monday, June 30 due to summertime heat.The summer hours will continue through September.

After more than 30 years, the Columbus High School football scoreboard has been removed from the south end of the stadium. If the scoreboard could talk, the stories it could tell. It will be replaced this summer and next year the Titans will be playing before a new modern scoreboard. Vital Signs is handling the sign replacement.

This report is going to be written by this more mature (older) woman who has experienced just about everything that has happened at the museum this month.The first part of the month the museum received a beautiful plate. As I was doing the paperwork on the plate, I noticed a flaw on it.
