Gerald Del Thompson, 33, was arrested Thursday by Galena Police officers on charges of interference with law enforcement officer; obstruct or resist and four counts of failure to appear and is being held in lieu of $2,665 bail.

Frobish descendants hold reunion

The 43rd reunion of the descendants of Will and Lizzie Frobish was held July 4 at the Columbus Community Building with 54 attending. This included four generations of family members.

Auxiliary gets update on landscaping

An update on the landscaping and irrigation system at Columbus Mercy was given to the Columbus Mercy Auxiliary at their July 21 meeting. Angie Saporito reported the project should be completed soon. Most of the signage has been put into place.
