A bit of rain did not dampen the enthusiasm or spoil the fun for the youngsters at the library recently. Given white t-shirts, gloves and some dye children were encouraged to create a wearable masterpiece. A large number of youngsters showed up for the tie dye shirt event.
Anastasia Hudson was presented the award for most improved student at the year end award ceremony at Life Christian School.

On June 8, at 5 p.m. the Lone Elm Beavers met at the Cherokee County Extension Office for their monthly meeting.
