With the adoption of the comprehensive plan by the Cherokee County Commissioners last Monday, the Planning and Zoning Commission began the first steps of a muti-month process to develop a county wide zoning code.
The commission listened at length to Chris Shires, Principal and Vice President of Confluence, who was hired by the county to develop a comprehensive plan and subsequent zoning codes.
