Cherokee County Commissioners Jack Garner, Cory Moates and Myra Frazier listened to constituents who raised concerns about the increase in taxes slated for the upcoming year. Following public input, commissioners closed the public hearing and after further discussion and budget trimming, approved the 2027 budget 2-1. Commissioner for District 1, Myra Frazier, was the single ‘nay’ vote.
