Recently members of the First United Methodist Church picked up donations collected at Mike Carpino Ford. During the month of September members of the community dropped off items at the Columbus location for donation to the FUMC food pantry. Hannah Carpino and Mike Carpino presented the items to the church. Courtesy photo.
The Cherokee County Democratic Party will meet Thursday, October 8, in the Galena City Hall Community Room at 6 p.m.
All interested persons are urged to attend as this will be the last meeting before the general election. Members who have means to do so are encouraged to bring donations of parade candy for the Columbus Day float or postcard stamps for our “get out the vote” postcard volunteers.
