Richard W. Farris, 91, of Oswego, died at 4:16 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Oswego Health and Rehab. Born January 3, 1930 in Hallowell, Richard was the son of Frank R. and Ora Alice (Boston) Farris. When Richard was six, he moved with his family to Oswego, where he grew up and attended school.

Lisa Marie Parise, 51, of Columbus, died Monday, March 15, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Born in Joplin, Mo., Lisa was the daughter of Mike and Rosemary (Hosey) Parise. They preceded her in death. Lisa was very active at the Autumn Place in Columbus where she was living.

Terry Ray DeVelbiss, 74, of Galena, died Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at his home following an illness. Born November 30, 1946, in Lima Ohio, Terry was the oldest of six children born to Joseph Ray and Ruth Naomi (Good) DeVelbiss. He lived most of his life in Lima.

Ella Rae (Tracy) Mallatt, 91, of Galena, died Tuesday March 16, 2021 at 7:07 p.m. at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo. after a sudden illness. She was truly the Matriarch of her family, Ella will be missed by many and simply cannot be replaced.

Betty Trinkle, 91, Chetopa

Betty J. Trinkle, 91, of Chetopa, died at 6:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at the Chetopa Manor. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, at the Community Bible Church in Chetopa. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 20, at the church.

Cameron Ragsdale, 43, Lowell

Cameron Robert Ragsdale, 43, of Lowell, died Friday, March 12, 2021 at his home. Born April 3, 1977 in Wichita, Cameron had lived in the area most of his life. Cameron had worked as a telemarketer. His pastimes were reading books and watching movies. He was always helping his grandmother.

Richard Dean “Corky” Henry, 81, of Fairland, Okla., died Wednesday, March 16, 2021 at his home. Born December 1, 1939, in Cardin, Okla., Corky was the son of Earl and Dixie (Chambers) Henry. He had lived in Wichita and Picher, Okla. for many years before moving to Fairland, Okla.

Terry Lee Hayden, 79, Parsons

Terry Lee Hayden, 79 of Parsons, died March 16, 2021 at his home. Born at Labette County Medical Center Hospital in Parsons, June 17, 1941, Terry was the son of Charles Hayden and Mary Elizabeth (Black) Hayden. He was a graduate of Labette County Community High School with the class of 1959.

Wilma Maxine (Beighey) Newell, 91, of Pittsburg, formerly of Weir, died at 7:30 a.m. , Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Via Christi Village. Born June 17, 1929 at Stone City, Wilma was the daughter of Howard Ralph and Mary (Marietta) Beighey.
