Kenneth Donald Rippel, 99, of Weir, died January 27, 2021, at his home. Born September 20, 1921,in Lake Lillian, Minn, Kenneth was the son of William and Lena (Calhoon) Rippel. Later his family moved to Vinton, Iowa.

Janice Emily, 76, Joplin, Mo.

Janice Ann Rowden Emily, 76, of Joplin, Mo., died January 27, 2021. She was born in the small town of Treece and was the eldest of four sisters.

A memorial service for Daniel Dickey, of Riverton will be held February 2, at 2 p.m. in Fort Smith National Cemetery with military rights. Daniel McFayette Dickey, 72, of Riverton, died at 11:55 p.m., January 15, 2021 at his home following an illness.

Mary Reavis

Mary Frances Reavis, 86 of Joplin, Mo., died Monday, January 25, 2021 at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, Mo. Born June 13, 1934, in Picher, Okla., Mary was the daughter of Alvin Temple Harris and Ruth Mae (Hulsey) Harris. They preceded her in death. She had lived in Joplin since 1993.

Cecil Anderson

Cecil “Rocky” Delano Anderson, 50, of Miami, Okla., died Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home. Born May 20, 1970 in Miami, Okla., Rocky was the son of Cecil “Chink” and LaTotsa (Hayworth) Anderson. He had lived in the Picher, Okla., Miami, Okla. and Dallas, Texas most of his life.

Jack D. Gordy

Jack Dewayne Gordy, 55, of Scammon died his home January 13, 2021 following an acute illness. Born March 3, 1965 in San Diego, Calif., Jack was the son of Bettye and Jack Gordy. Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Bettye and brother, Russell Gordy.

Richard (Rick) Shetley, 68, of Oswego died January 25th, 202. He was born July 5, 1952 to Olin Shetley and Betty Shetley, who undoubtedly met him the moment he entered heaven. His love for adventure began in his childhood with his brothers.

Lawrence Ronald “Larry” Dwyer, 83, of Parsons, died Monday, January 25, 2021, in Joplin, Mo. He was born August 9, 1937, in Parsons. Larry was the son of William Hugh “Honey” and Josephine (Colchin) Dwyer.

Ramona Charles, 86, Riverton

Ramona “June” Charles, 86, of Galena, died January 20, 2021. Born April 27, 1934 in Wyandotte, Okla., June was the daughter of Walter Lee Baumann and Susie Sarah Baumann. Though she was older by a few minutes than her twin, Rayma “Jean”, she reveled in being the baby of the family.

Linda K. Davis 73, of Scammon, died 7:47 p.m. Monday January 25, 2021 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, following an illness. Born October 29, 1947, in Scammon, Linda was the daughter of Ross O. and Opal L. (Jones) Bennett.
