The Columbus Titan C Team came out on top in a three-quarter game against Cherryvale, 22-17, Tuesday, at the Central School Gym.Sophomore, Braxtyn Buergin, had the hot hand to put the Titans in the lead early with six points in the first quarter.
The Lady Titan Varsity Basketball Team took second place in the Mo-Kan Tournament after a, 4046 loss, Friday night at Southeast High School, to New Heights Christian Academy. The Columbus Titans split their first home triangular, Thursday, with a win over Girard, 48-34, and a loss to Frontenac, 28-45, at the CUHS Gymnasium.There were no Titans with double match wins due to forfeits.

Lady Titan Sophomore, Hannah Noel, took first place in the Bentonville West Invitational Girls Wrestling Tournament, Friday, in Centerton, Ark. Noel received one by on her way to the championship and took the title match in a 9-7 decision.

Titan Freshman, Kash Smith, led the Columbus Titan Wrestling Team to a sixth place finish in the Bentonville West Invitational, Saturday, with 11 wrestlers scoring 99 team points in a field of 15 teams.

Adalynn Hutto, Lady Titan Freshman, won both matches on the mat in the first home triangular of her high school career, Thursday, at the CUHS Gym. She had the lone win that was not a forfeit in the 42--18 team win over Girard and won her match against Frontenac.

The CCCJL Tournament will be played Monday and Thursday at the Frontenac High School new and middle gymnasiums beginning a 4 p.m.Seeding for the tournament was announced Wednesday by league officials.
