The CUHS Lady Titan Golf Team spent Monday and Tuesday in Emporia for the Kansas Class 3-1A State Golf Tournament. Senior, Anna Head, sophomores, Amory Neely, Natalie Wary, Hannah Noel, and senior, Mallory Thompson teed off Monday morning. Southeast Class 2A, Region 2 Champions

The Columbus Lady Titan Volleyball Team ended their season at the Kansas Class 3A, Regional 2 Tournament, Monday in Girard. Senior members of the team were recognized recently at a team senior night and will be introduced at the All-School Fall Activities Senior Night tonight at 6:30 p.m. prior to the home football game against Parsons. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Volleyball seniors are Destynne Goff, Chloe Rogers, Ruby Stover, Torey Tedlock, Katy Mooney, Madisen Rand, and Carlotta Galasso.

Titan Freshman, Brody Carter, scored two touchdowns including a kickoff return for a touchdown to start the second half to put the home team on top, 12-7, in the 30-21, Columbus win at Titan Stadium, Monday.

Denver Hughes, broke away down the east sideline for a 46-yard touchdown, the first six points in the Columbus Eighth Grade, 34-12, win over Girard, Tuesday at Titan Stadium in the teams final game of the season.

Members of the Baxter Springs 1985 Championship Baseball Team were represented at the Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony by Jody Adams, Kelly Gilbreath, Phillp Cook, Jeff Karnes, Paul Nixon, Curtis Williams, Doug Puckett, Rusty Spence and coaches Mike Cook and Don Karnes. Additional team members but not pictured included Sean Krokroskia, Kevin Judd, David Edmondson, Tim Mehaffy, Carl Boyd, Scott Madden, Mitchell Harrison, Bobby Arnall, Todd Weaver, Mike Minor, Chris Wene and Bill Buck.
