The Frontenac Raiders remained undefeated and the top of the district standings after the Kansas Class 3A, District 1, win over Columbus, 22-0, in Frontenac, Friday.In a game with few penalties, the clock ran quickly on the first quarter with neither team scoring.

Districts in Kansas are one step closer to solidifying` their final standings after the week seven contests. Frontenac sits alone at the top of Kansas Class 3A, District 1standings with their undefeated season following a 22-0 win over Columbus Friday night on their home field.

The Lady Titan Golf Team placed third at the Kansas Class 3-1A Regional Golf Tournament in Caney, October 14, to qualify for the state tournament, yesterday and today in Emporia.

The Columbus Titan Cross Country Team hosted the CNC League Meet, Thursday at the Brush Creek Golf Course. Two Titan Sophomores, Drake Laurance and Carter Woodcock, placed in the top ten to earn All-CNC League honors.

It was a beautiful day for the Three Rivers League meet, Thursday, at the Weir Baptist Camp course. Two Lancers, juniors Zayne Gabern and Kendyl Renn placed tenth to garner All-TRL honors.“It's always nice to have home course advantage, “said Head Cross Country Coach Julie Jones.

Eli Engleman placed eighth in the seventh grade boys race and Sammi Ohmart took first place in the seventh grade girls event. Sammi placed first in four of the six meets in her rookie season and was second at the Columbus Invitational. The Kansas State High School Activities Association has implemented a new format for the 2024 high school volleyball post season. Sixteen teams will play in a four-quad formatted tournament per a statement released by KSHSAA early this year.

The Columbus Lady Titan Golf Team qualified for the Kansas Class 3-1A State Tournament by placing third as a team the Caney Valley 3-1A Regional Tournament, Monday.Senior, Mallory Thompson, led the Lady Titans by placing seventh in a field of 46 golfers from 15 schools.
