Free car washes for senior citizens

Senior citizens in the community will have the opportunity have their car washed for free. Michelle Mosler’s community service class will be holding the free car wash Friday, May 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the circle drive in front of Central School.

Columbus first became a town in 1868, and has been around for 135 years. My parents didn’t grow up in Columbus. My mom grew up in Carl Junction, and my dad grew up in Washington, but then moved to Neosho, to finish out high school. Still, me and my brother get to grow up in such a unique community.
