Concern about public health caused Assistant County Attorney Ethan Manke to bring proposed legislation to the Cherokee County Commissioners on Monday. This regulation would police the selling of hallucinogenic flora and fungi (mushrooms) inside Cherokee County.

Quilt displays family history

A quilt made by the grandmother of Anette Lopp Robertson was donated to the museum recently. Robertson, along with her club members of the Sherwin Christian Church Home Demonstration Unit brought the quilt to the museum. It was made in 1938.
