The Mineral All-School Reunion held on Saturday evening held at the Old Parita Ballroom in Carona. More than 50 former students of Mineral High School and grade schools.Once again Virginia Moore was honored as the oldest graduate of Mineral High School attending the annual reunion.

Postman Pat York sorted the mail for the last time Friday as he retired after 26 years working in the postal service.He starts in Columbus every morning, then delivers the mail to Cherokee.York has seen a lot of changes in the postal service since he started in 1966.

He had several duty stations, including Afghanistan for a year in Sharama driving supply trucks for route clearance, then served with the Special Forces for the rest of his tour. Courtesy photo.
