EaglePicher to open new facility

EaglePicher will break ground on a new, state-ofthe- art facility in Pittsburg, Thursday, July 24 at 10 a.m.. As the project moves forward, Greg Kirk will function as the building’s Project Manager, while Neosho, Mo.’s Branco Enterprises will serve as Contractor.

Auxiliary hears plans for mammogram bus

Information on the new mammogram van at Columbus Mercy was presented to the Auxiliary by Angie Saporito at the July 15 meeting.The new bus will remain parked in Columbus to offer services. Patients can begin scheduling after September 1.

Weir adds building standard restrictions

Minimum standards for housing in the city limits of Weir have been established by a recently passed ordinance.The ordinance passed by the Weir City Council requires buildings used in whole or in part as a home or residence to be well maintained.
