Employees of Medicalodges were busy making salads on Wednesday morning as a fund raiser. The money will be used to take residents on a field trip. In the past they have gone to several shows in Branson
Saturday morning a parade of fire trucks will move from the old fire station to the new Military Avenue located fire station at 9:30 a.m. This will be followed by a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. and an open house. The city will be hosting a fun packed evening with free snow cones and cotton candy, sponsored by the Baxter Springs Kiwanis beginning at 5 p.m.
The art work of Lucas Haviland and the other students was displayed on the Junior High School walls during the Compass Academy Network graduation ceremonies.
Connecting Point church members recently spent some time cleaning and doing yard work at Cherry Creek and Central Apartments. Don Willey, Mamie Houser and Ralph Houser were among those assisting.
