Concession help needed

Columbus Community Field Board has an opening for someone to run the concession stand at the community field. This will be during the high school baseball and softball games and the summer baseball/softball programs. If interested contact Doug Spear 620-704-7128.

Scholarships discussed by Auxiliary

Scholarship applications were collected and discussed by the Columbus Mercy Auxiliary at their March 17 meeting. The scholarships will be presented at the May Senior Assembly.

Chad Harper, principal of Riverton High School has announced the honor rolls for the third quarter.Students named to the Superintendent’s Honor Roll, students making a 4.000-4.

Cherokee County Jail Report

Ashlee Jean Frerer, 31, was arrested Sunday by Baxter Springs Police officers on charges of domestic battery; knowing or reckless bodily harm and criminal discharge of a firearm; occupied dwelling and was released on $795 bail.
