Table tennis has origins in Victorian England, sets made for over 100 years

Tennis, anyone? How about table tennis? The tabletop version of the sport is believed to have begun in Victorian England as a parlor game played by the upper class.

KDOT announces approved project bids

The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place on May 20 in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

Accidents spur K-26 intersection change

KDOT representative Jeff Fischer stopped by the commission meeting Monday morning to report that the intersection at K-26 and Old US 166 would be returning to an all-way stop by sundown.
