Deer are an abundant natural resource in Cherokee County. Management of deer varies based on a person’s perspective of the animal. Deer cause considerable damage to crops and have done thousands of dollars of damage to vehicles.

Vets honored in special edition

The five remaining WW II Veterans in Cherokee County are being recognized by the community as the numbers are decreasing annually. This past year two of those featured last year died.

Parade recognizes military personnel
