If you are looking for a fun place to spend Valentine’s evening, head over to Center Christian Church. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. February 14, the church will be hosting its 23 rd annual chili feed. After the meal Brothers Walker will be performing in concert.

Cherokee County 4-H has announced that the February member of the month is Jadeyn Ivey. Ivey is 15 years old, is a sophomore at Columbus Unified High School and is in her eighth year in 4-H.

Meals on Wheels to resume hot lunches

Meals on Wheels will resume hot meals effective Tuesday, February 16. The kitchen will be closed Monday, February 15 due to President’s Day. For customers currently receiving the frozen meal box, hot meals will be delivered February 16.
