Cutter James Purscelley, 20, of Galena died Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his home. Born August 1, 2002, in Chickasha, Okla., Cutter James was the son of Bryan Leroy Purscelley and Jennifer Lynn Enloe. He had lived in Galena for the past eight years, moving from Montana.
Cutter enjoyed playing video games and drawing sketches. He also loved music. His dog Scooby-Doo was everything to him and he loved him very much.
Cutter is survived by his mother and stepfather, Howard and Jennifer Truster, of Galena; two brothers, Kaden Purscelley and Kyle Davis, of Galena; one sister, Samantha Davis, of Miami, Okla.; one stepbrother, Avery Truster, of Galena; one stepsister, Alexandrea Truster, of Joplin; his step grandmother, Vickie Truster,of Baxter Springs along with several nieces and nephews.
He had been entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, of Galena for cremation.
