Sharon Rosalie (Garrison) Campbell-Adkins, 83, of Webb City, Mo., died at 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Webb City Health and Rehab, Webb, City, Mo. following an illness. Born August 1, 1939 in Columbus, Sharon was the daughter of Francis and Hanna Jane (Brigman) Garrison. They preceded her in death.
Sharon was raised in Columbus and graduated from High School there. She worked at Labette Health, in Parsons, for 36 years, retiring in the late 1990’s. A member of First Baptist Church, of Oswego, she had lived Oswego before moving to Webb City, Mo. in 2012.
Sharon and Lawrence Harold Campbell were united in marriage January 4, 1958, at Oswego. Their marriage ended in divorce. They reunited and lived together as companions until he died in February 2012. She married Norman B “Rocky” Adkins who also preceded her in death March 19, 1984. In addition to her parents and both husband, Sharon was preceded in death by, seven brothers, five sisters and one grandson, Jacob Hayward.
Sharon is survived by one son, John Campbell (Robin), of Webb City, Mo.; two sisters, Ywona “Jane” Hayward (Tony), of Oswego, and Sherri Jackson (Gary), of Webb City, Mo.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 28 ,at the Oswego Cemetery, in Oswego. Pastor Jim Irwin will officiate. Upon Sharon’s wishes, the casket will remain closed. Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home, of Oswego.
