Lester Lonnie Foster, 75 of Quapaw, Okla., died Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, in Joplin, Mo. Born November 9, 1947 in Quapaw, Okla., Lester was the son of Lonnie Foster and Goldie (MaCammon) Foster. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Loretta “Pat” Jones, Bertha “Bert” Hutchins; half sister, Betty Riggins; two half brothers, Robert and Danny Foster.
Lester and Vicki Gayle Hart were united in marriage May 18, 1968, at Miami, Okla. She survives. Lester worked as a heavy equipment operator for the county before his retirement. He was a member of the (BIL) Brothers In Law.
In addition to his wife Vicki Foster of the home; Lester is survived by Bladen Hart, who he helped raise; brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews; brother, Henry Foster (Vivian); two sisters, Tressie Lee and Charlie Tucker.
