Lois Marie Mangold Neely, 60, of Columbus, died July 10, 2023. Born June 24, 1963, in San Antonio, Texas, Lois was the daughter of Patrick ‘Pat’ James Mangold and Constance ‘Connie’ Eloise Koehler Mangold. They preceded her in death.
Lois graduated from Medina Valley High School in 1981. From 1981 to 1985, she worked at Southwest Research. In 1985, she began working at the National Shooting Complex Association. She started WYSHOTGUN in 2000. November 21, 2015, Lois married Jake Neely in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives.
In addition to her husband of the home, Lois is survived by siblings, Mildred (Jay) Bendele of Dunlay, Texas, Patrick Mangold of San Antonio, Texas, Bonnie Mangold of La Coste,Texas, Beth (Butch) Cook of Pearsall, Texas and Rollin (Dawn) Mangold of La CosteTexas; stepchildren, Parker Neely and Amory Neely both of Columbus; mother-in-law, Cindy Neely of Columbus; brother- in-law, Will (Lacy) Neely of Columbus; nephews, Matt Mangold and Walt Mangold; nieces, Lisa Unger and Shay Neely; as well as numerous aunts and uncles. .
A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, August 19, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 19, at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the National Shooting Complex, 5931 Roft Road, San Antonio, Texas 78253.
