Gary Lee Lambert, 62, of Olathe, died Tuesday, June 18, 2023 at Olathe Medical Center. Born March 27, 1961 in Baxter Springs, Gary was the son of the Judith Ann Lambert. He grew up in Southeast Kansas before going to the Missouri School for the Deaf at High School age. He graduated from there and worked for many years at the School in the Maintenance Department. He was very active despite his handicap and was a loving and caring brother to his family. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother, Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Brand.
Gary is survived by his sisters, Sherry Drain (husband Basel) of Galena, Clarissa Wilson of Tulsa, Okla., Crystal Callaco (husband Jeffrey) of Springdale, Ark., Sandra Willis (husband Charles) and Tammy Willis both of Kingston, Ark.; nieces and nephews, Robbie, Nathan, Marie, Vanessa, Samantha, Rusty, Justin, Joseph, and Jessica; great nieces and nephews, Noah, Kala, Lucas, Jordan, and Jaden.
Committal of his ashes will be at a later date in Oakhill Cemetery, in Galena.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
