Lois Marie Mangold Neely, 60, of Columbus, died July 10, 2023. Born June 24, 1963, in San Antonio, Texas, Lois was the daughter of Patrick ‘Pat’ James Mangold and Constance ‘Connie’ Eloise Koehler Mangold. They preceded her in death. Lois graduated from Medina Valley High School in 1981.

Patricia “Pat” Joan Kinder Roberts, of Baxter Springs died peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 20, 2023. Her final days were spent surrounded by her beloved family laughing and smiling.

Linda Bennett, 72, Galena

Linda K Bennett, 72, of Galena, died at 1:12 a.m. Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Freeman West Hospital, in Joplin, Mo. following a long illness. Born in Kansas City, Mo., January 11, 1951, Linda was the daughter of Roscoe and Ruby (Sills) Woods. She has lived in Galena most of her life.

Amanda Moore, 43, Chetopa

Amanda M. Moore, 43, of Chetopa, died at 11:48 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin., Mo. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, July 21 at the First Baptist Church in Chetopa. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Chetopa.

Donald Skahan, Overland Park

Donald E. Skahan, 80, of Overland Park, died July 16, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born May 24, 1943, in Columbus, Don was the eldest son of Don and Darlene (Smith) Skahan. They preceded him in death. Don was also preceded in death by his sister Mary (Skahan) Radom and nephew Skip Skahan.

Gary D. Gray, 66, of Baxter Springs died Saturday July 15, 2023 at his home. He was a nurse. Arrangements are by Midland Cremation Society of Joplin.

Roger A. Keith, Bellevue, Neb.

Roger A. Keith, died July 11, 2023. Born July 17, 1946 Roger was the son of T.J. and Norma Jean (Keith) Williamson. They preceded him in death. Roger was a Sergeant with the 135th AHC during the Vietnam War from 1967-1968.

Ronald Lee Lindsey, 83, of Columbus, died Thursday, July 13, 2023, following a recent cancer diagnosis. Born October 4, 1939, in Hugo, Oklahoma, Ronald was the son of Vernon and Frances Lindsey. They preceded him in death.

Kenneth Sigafoose, Columbus, Miss.

Kenneth “Kenny” Paul Sigafoose, 69 of Columbus, Miss. died Friday, July 14, 2023, at his residence. Born January 10, 1954, in Columbus, Kansas, Kenny was the son of Paul and Twila Beggs Sigafoose. They preceded him in death. Kenny was also preceded in death by his step-child, Renee Kinard Kim.
